After a powerful earthquake in 2012, my family home was destroyed and had to be rebuilt from scratch. I designed both the architecture and interiors using SketchUp and partnered with a local architect, Studio Porcari and Rubner Haus to bring this ecological home to life.
Interior Design
Asymmetrical rectangular stairs made of laminated wood. The structure has been designed to filter as much light as possible inside the space. Each rectangular space in the structure can be used for storage. A trapeze-shaped hand railing lightly frames the design.

Light radiates from a source in waves. The Onda wall sconce is a playful representation of light’s dynamism and movement. An undulated LED tube wraps delicately around a wall-mounted pin symbolizing a nail tethering the stylized light wave to the wall. Onda strives to recapture the distinct impact of a neon light through the soft, white aura of LED technology. Smooth against every surface, this hanging symbol surprises and delights.
